As an insurance agent, leveraging XILO’s Chrome extension can streamline your workflow and enhance client interactions. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to start a form from the extension and send it to your customers for completion.
Step 1: Open the Chrome Extension
First, ensure you have the XILO Chrome extension installed and logged in. Click on the XILO icon in your browser's toolbar to open the extension.
Step 2: Access the Forms List
Within the extension, navigate to the Forms List. This is where you’ll find all the available forms that you can start.
Step 3: Select and Open a Form
Browse through the list and click Open on the form you wish to use. For internal use, we recommend utilizing the Intake Forms as they are designed to capture essential client information efficiently.
Step 4: Fill Out the Form
Once the form is open, proceed to fill out the necessary information. Ensure all relevant details are accurately entered to facilitate a smooth process later on.
Step 5: Submit the Form
After completing the form, submit it. Upon submission, the Action Panel will automatically appear on the Intake Form screen.
Step 6: Integrate and Push Data
In the Action Panel, click on Integrations and select Push under the appropriate policy line (XAI Auto, Home, Personal, or Commercial). Note that this process currently supports personal lines forms only. The development for commercial lines forms is in progress.
Step 7: Verify Submission
Wait for the confirmation that the data has been successfully pushed. This ensures that the information is correctly integrated into the XILO system.
Step 8: Check the Client in the Extension
Reopen the XILO Chrome extension and navigate to the new client entry created from your submission. You can find this by looking for the client's name or details in the client list.
Step 9: Share the Form with the Customer
Click into the client's profile within the extension. Scroll to the bottom of the screen where you’ll see the Share Form button. Click this and select the form that matches the policy line you want your customer to work on. This action will send the form to your customer for completion.

Currently, this functionality is available for personal lines forms only. We are actively working on enabling this feature for commercial lines forms, so stay tuned for updates.
