As a SaaS company, ensuring seamless integrations is crucial for a smooth user experience. One common issue users may encounter is an integration error due to missing information. In this article, we'll walk through how to fix an integration error caused by a missing VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on a vehicle. Follow these steps to resolve the issue efficiently:
Step 1: Login to the XILO Dashboard
First, navigate to the XILO Dashboard by visiting dashboard.xilo.io. Enter your login credentials to access your account.
Step 2: Find the Client
Once logged in, locate the Client table on the dashboard. Search for the specific client experiencing the integration error and click on their name to go to the Client View.
Step 3: Review the Integrations
In the Client View, you'll see a list of integrations. Review these integrations and click on any errors to understand why they failed. For instance, if you're working with PL Rater Auto, you might see that vehicle data is missing.
Step 4: Check Vehicle Data in the Submission
The error may indicate missing vehicle data, such as the VIN, Year, Make, and Model. You'll need to verify this information in the Submission. Scroll down to find the Submissions list located below the Integrations list.
Step 5: Find the Relevant Submission
From the Submissions list, identify the relevant Submission that contains the vehicle with missing data. Click on this Submission to proceed.
Step 6: Edit the Submission
In the top right corner of the Submission page, click "Edit Submission."
Step 7: Fix Vehicle Details
Within the Submission, locate the problematic vehicles. Check and update their details to ensure all required fields, including VIN, Year, Make, and Model, are filled in correctly.
Step 8: Save the Submission
After making the necessary corrections, click "Save Submission" to apply the changes.
Step 9: Return to the Client Table
To proceed with re-integrating the updated Submission, go back to the Client Table by clicking the "Clients" tab in the left sidebar.
Step 10: Export the Updated Submission
Find the client you were working on and click the "Export" button next to their name.
Step 11: Select the Submission
Hover over "Select Submission" to see a list of available Submissions.
Step 12: Choose the Submission to Push
Hover over the Submission you just edited and select it.
Step 13: Choose the Integration
Finally, choose the integration you want to push. With the vehicle details corrected, the integration should now pass without errors.
By following these steps, you can quickly and effectively fix an integration error caused by missing vehicle information. Ensuring all required fields are accurately filled out will help maintain smooth operations and avoid future issues.
