Overview

The XAI Chrome Extension is a powerful tool designed to enhance agent productivity by automating data entry and retrieval directly from the XILO CRM. This document covers the installation, authentication, administration, data access, and usage features of the extension.


1. Installation Instructions

  • Downloading the Extension:

    • Go to the Chrome Web Store in Chrome.

    • Click Add to Chrome to install the extension.

  • Edge Compatibility:

    • Go to the Chrome Web Store in Edge.

    • Click Add to Chrome to install the extension.

  • Requirements:

    • Minimum browser version: Chrome version 113 or Edge version 113.

    • Other system requirements, if applicable.


2. Authentication and Access

  • Login Process:

    • The extension will prompt the user to log in using their XILO credentials.

    • Once logged in your access will have access for 72 hours until you have to login again for security purposes.

  • Admin Login and Permissions Setup:

    • Admin users can access a dashboard or configuration panel to add new users and manage permissions.

    • You can access this view by visiting the XILO Dashboard > Settings > Team > Agents


3. Data Access Permissions

  • What Data is Accessed:

    • XILO CRM Data: The extension pulls data directly from the XILO CRM to auto-fill forms and assist agents in customer interactions.

    • HTML Form Fields: When the user selects “Scan Page,” the extension temporarily accesses the HTML form fields on the page to capture relevant data. No PII is collected during this process or from the extension.


4. Requesting Page Blocks

  • Blocking Specific Web Pages:

    • Agents who wish to exclude specific pages from being accessed by the extension can submit a request to support@xilo.io.
